Photoshop Tutorials 1) Start new document with 550 width and 550 height. Create New layer. Select Ellipse Tool from toolbar and draw an ellipse.

2) Select gradient tool and edit gradient colors as below.

3) Select Reflected gradient and apply gradient from top left to lower right.
4) Now add Outer Glow to an ellipse
 
5) Again select ellipse tool and draw another ellipse but this time smaller than the first one.
6) Now add Inner Glow and Gradient Overlay to an ellipse.
 
7) Add New layer. Set your foreground color to #99CCFF. Select Brush, from brush picker select soft round 45 px brush and enable airbrush. Apply airbrush at the lower portion of the second circle.
Set its mode to overlay and down its opacity upto 45 Px.
8) Now add some reflections. Add New layer. Set your foreground color to white. Select foreground to transparent gradient and apply reflected gradient from top to bottom. Set its layer mode to Soft Light and if you want than down its opacity upto 40% to 50%.  
9) Add New layer. Select Soft round 45 Px brush and enable airbrush. Make sure that white is set as your foreground color. Apply airbrush at the top of the reflection. Set its mode to Soft Light.
10) Now add another layer. Again select soft round 9 px brush and add reflection like this:

11) Add Some nice shape to Globe. Select Custom Shape tool from tool box. Select Butterfly and Draw a butterfly in the middle of the globe.


  12) Add Drop Shadow, Inner Glow, Gradient Overlay, Stroke.
 
13) After applying all these effects. Your Butterfly should look like this:
